CAREERs Plus+ emerged from a powerful alignment of belief, trust, and purpose. While the concept, vision, and full financial backing came from Mr. Bhargab Mohan Das, it was Prof. Dr. Dieter Trau who recognized its profound potential for AIT Entrepreneurship Center and initiated its adoption within AIT EC. Strengthening this mission further, Dr. Mimi Das Saikia, an educationist and social entrepreneur, joined as a guiding force—enriching the initiative with her deep understanding of youth development and social impact.
Together, the trio brings a rare fusion of entrepreneurship, academia, and social innovation—uniting distinct strengths to help young minds move from uncertainty to clarity, and from aspiration to empowered execution.

Prof. Dr. Dieter Trau championed innovation by launching CAREERs Plus+ at AIT EC, trusting Bhargab’s visionary blueprint.
Mr. Bhargab Mohan Das is the founder of the DN69 Family, a collective of enterprises dedicated to sustainability, technology integration, and human development.
Drawing from his professional journey and a portfolio of successful ventures, he leads initiatives spanning renewable energy, ESG certification, carbon-credit innovation, and youth empowerment.
In this DN69 Family’s journey, in the last 2 years, through entities such as WSI DN69, DIA Co., Ltd., BD Touch, and initiatives like GROW, SEED, he has demonstrated how a purpose-driven business can foster long-term value for society.
CAREERs Plus+ extends this vision to the educational sphere—enabling young people to discover their strengths, develop capability, and act confidently toward independence. The vision is to allow the next generation to attain self-reliance
and live with absolute dignity.
Dr. Mimi Das Saikia is an educationist and social entrepreneur dedicated to advancing youth empowerment through innovative and inclusive learning models. As Co-Creator of CAREERs Plus+, she plays a pivotal role in shaping mission-driven initiatives that bridge education, entrepreneurship, and social impact. Her work focuses on reimagining education to be more accessible, future-ready, and aligned with real-world challenges.
With a strong commitment to educational innovation, she actively fosters environments where young people can develop critical skills, confidence, and purpose. Through strategic collaboration and community engagement, Dr. Saikia contributes to sustainable social transformation, enabling learners to become change-makers and responsible leaders in an evolving global society.
Prof. Dr. Dieter Trau is a scientist, inventor, and social entrepreneur who has bridged academia, innovation, and enterprise creation. With a PhD from HKUST and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Biotechnology from FH Aachen, he has founded
and advised several biotechnology and technology ventures while driving research that translates into practical solutions.
His initiatives in Singapore during his tenure at prestigious NUS and across Asia have connected research excellence with entrepreneurial impact, leading to numerous patents and successful commercial applications. As Director of the
AIT Entrepreneurship Centre & as the Dean of the School of Engineering & Technology earlier in AIT, he continues to champion innovation-based learning and mentor emerging entrepreneurs to transform ideas into meaningful change.
Note: On Orientation Day, participants receive an online Self-Assessment Questionnaire, which they submit after Orientation, at the end of Month 1, and after the Final Session. Feedback trends are tracked to visualise participant progress. During the Closing Ceremony, each participant receives their Assessment and Recommendations and Awards for a few.
